What Should You Expect at NGA’s Colloquium?

How often can a guardian devote an entire day to investigate just one of the issues that are part of every day of practice ... with a group of the nation’s most noted experts at hand as a resource ....plus all the minds of other attendees to illuminate the subject in new and exciting ways?

NGA’s Colloquium is designed to give guardians a quality education and networking experience while minimizing the expense. The one-day schedule means that many people may not need a hotel room, or require only a one-night stay. For those arriving Thursday, a welcome reception with light refreshments creates another opportunity for professional networking. The luncheon that is included has an entertaining and enlightening presentation.

To maximize your travel and time investment, the Center for Guardianship Certification has scheduled a Registered Guardian certification exam on Thursday, April 3 in conjunction with the Colloquium. NGA will also offer the national certification review course prior to the exam. Attendance at a review course is not required to take the exam, but is strongly recommended. The course and exam are not part of the Colloquium and separate registration is required.
