A colloquium is a scholarly gathering
to discuss a specific topic; usually a meeting at which specialists
deliver addresses on issues related to the topic and then provide a
forum for questions to be answered. NGA’s first colloquium will allow
guardians to explore issues surrounding The Rights of Wards. Our
speakers have been hand-selected for their high level of proficiency and
breadth of knowledge on the Colloquium focus. Each presenter brings
skills based on experience in dealing with The Rights of Wards and is
recognized for expertise in the specific issues we will address. It is
hoped this will be the first in a series of annual colloquia held in
various parts of the country and on different topics each year.
