A panel of guardianship attorneys categorize and review the year's major U.S. guardianship cases under the following topics: pre-adjudication issues; choice of guardian; guardians' actions; fees for guardians and attorneys; rights of wards; capacity issues; power of attorney v. guardian conflicts; Medicaid/public benefits; end of life issues; guardian and fiduciary misconduct; post-adjudication issues; and multi-jurisdictional issues. This is an interactive session where attendees may ask questions and will hear from practitioners about how reported cases in their states have affected their practices.
