Eric M. Fish Eric M. Fish is legislative counsel for the Uniform Law Commission based in Chicago. As legislative counsel, Mr. Fish provides support to legislators considering uniform acts, advises committees drafting future uniform acts, aids commissioners with outreach effort, and serves as the ULC liaison to the ABA Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division. He focuses on guardianship and elder law acts, as well as family laws and procedural laws. Mr. Fish has spoken extensively on the Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act and the Uniform Power of Attorney Act. Additionally, Mr. Fish is a contributing author to the American Bar Association Family Legal Guide. Mr. Fish graduated with honors from the University of
Chicago and is a graduate of the Loyola University Chicago School of
Law. While in law school, he served as the Editor in Chief of the Loyola
University Chicago International Law Review. |
