Kenneth R. Deihl

Kenneth R. Deihl has served as Presiding Judge of Macoupin County, Illinois, since 2006. Prior to this, he was a private practice attorney from 1982.

Deihl received his BA from Blackburn College in 1978 and his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1982. He received his admission to practice in the state of Illinois and the Federal District Court in 1982.

He has taught Business Law I & II at Blackburn College since 1998 and Conflict Resolution in 2001. He taught American Jurisprudence, Real Estate & Wills & Estate at American Institute for Paralegal Training from 1985 to 1987.

Deihl has co-authored several publications since 2000. He has served on the Board of Trustees of Blackburn College since 2004, the Board of Directors of First National Bank from 1987 to 2006, the Board of Trustees of Carlinville Area Hospital from 2000 to 2006, the Board of Directors for Pleasant Hill Village Nursing Home from 1994 to 2004 and the Board of Education of Girard Community Unit District #3 from 1977 to 1979.
