Four Free Webinars Each Year
Your membership includes four complimentary continuing education webinars each year. These “Professional Enrichment Webinars,” offered only to members and eligible for continuing education credit, will be offered live and archived in recorded form. At the end of the year, these webinars will convert to paid webinars available to anyone for a fee.
Coffee Chats
Every other month, members are invited to join an informal “coffee chat” about a specific subject. A facilitator leads an interactive conversation with participants, allowing them to ask questions and receive answers from colleagues across the country.
Virtual Special Interest Groups
Virtual interest groups allow members with similar interests and goals to work together to share ideas. Special interest groups currently exist for public guardians, people starting their own businesses, members studying for the certification exam, and guardians who want to speak with other members about everyday situations they encounter.
Exclusive Access to Liability Insurance Designed Specifically for Fiduciaries
The professional fiduciary liability insurance program developed jointly by NGA, Dominion Insurance, and underwriters at Lloyd’s of London, is available only to NGA members. The coverage offers features important to practicing guardians and fiduciaries, and NGA was able to negotiate a number of key coverage enhancements to add real value for its membership. Additional special discounts that could total as much as 15% off the premium are available to NGA members who also hold membership in an affiliate state guardianship association, or are a National Certified Guardian (NCG) or a National Master Guardian (NMG).
This insurance coverage is available only to NGA members through an exclusive arrangement with Dominion Insurance. Members can learn more by reviewing documents in the Members Only Section of this website.
Registration Discounts for the National Conference on Guardianship and Other Education
It doesn’t take a mathematician to see that the savings for conference and webinar registrations are a great payback on your dues investment. Last year, individual members saved as much as $145 on registration for the National Conference on Guardianship. Organization members can apply the member discount on all employee registrations for even greater savings.

The National Guardian
The NGA newsletter contains information about the organization and also about changes in guardianship laws and regulations, national trends in guardianship, updates to help you perform at your peak, contacts within the profession, activities among guardians throughout the country, and more. The newsletter is delivered by email only to people in the NGA member database.
