NGA Auction

Your Auction Donation Helps Your Fellow Members

How are the NGA auction proceeds used?
The proceeds from NGA’s silent and live auctions have always been very important to NGA and are specifically designated to provide scholarships to a worthy guardians (one for a family guardian, one for a public guardian, and one for a dedicated NGA volunteer) to attend the conference each year. Additionally, these funds allow NGA to support special projects outside of its normal budget.

The committee is seeking all types of donations, so please use your imagination!
Over the years, many talented NGA members have generously donated items they have made by hand, such as baby blankets, jewelry, photographs, scarves, and cards. Others have donated art, paintings, and electronics. State affiliate organizations have joined the cause, donating special items from their states. Please keep in mind that heavy, bulky, fragile or perishable items may present packing and transportation difficulties for you and/or the purchasing member. Please provide the original packaging for your donated item(s) so that winners can easily take their purchases home.

Donations are fully tax deductible.
NGA is a not-for-profit IRS 501(c)3 organization and its tax identification number is 36-3591860. You will receive a receipt for your donations and for your purchases for tax purposes.
