The World Congress on Adult Capacity (previously known as the World Congress on Adult Guardianship) will be held July 8 – 10, 2026 in Amsterdam. NGA has been involved with the World Congress since its inception, hosting the third event in Washington, DC in 2014.

Participants at the World Congress have the unique opportunity to hear about guardianship practice in other countries, share best practices, and forge relationships with colleagues across the globe. As part of its commitment to supporting the World Congress, NGA is offering five $1,000 travel stipends to members planning to attend the 2026 event. While anyone can register directly for the World Congress, members interested in applying for the travel stipend must complete the application below by Friday, March 20.
